Looking for a race?
Parkside Open Mini-Meets:
Run at UW Parkside Indoor 200 Meter Track
Continued
1/8" Spikes recommended (no Spikes or 1/4" are OK, nothing longer)
There are 4 meets each two (2) weeks apart, Always on Friday evening
Dates of the Mini-Meets are Jan 20, Feb 3, Feb 17, Mar 3
Cost $10 One-Time Charge (you can go to 1, 2, 3 or 4 meets for a total of $10)
They will start at 6:00 pm with the Race Walkers then go to the Distance event at about 6:45. They will run as many heats as they need to. The heats will be seeded by time. The Meet is Open to anyone High School, College, Post Collegiate, etc. The distance event schedule looks like this:
Jan 20 - 1600M
Feb 3 - 800M
Feb 17 - 3000M
Mar 3 - 1600M
Sounds like fun, varied competition, not allot of preasure, Coach Dewitt 262-595-2405 for more information
The track is almost brand new with nice wide turns.

Also across the road at carthage:
Sunday February 12th. is the Wisconsin Indoor USATF Track and Field Championships. It is at Carthage college in Kenosha. You would have to also pay the USATF fee which is 12$. This race attracts a lot of top talent.

And of course the last UWM mini meet is on Friday January 20th at 6:00 pm. The distance events include the 3000m, the mile, and the 600m. I believe that it is $10 at the door with no advanced sign up required.
If anyone knows of any other races let me know and I will happily post them.
