The equipment corner
This is going to be a new feature unless I get a lot of complaints. While running doesn't require a lot of gear and or special equipment there are some things that do make a difference. Every week or so I plan to feature something that might not be obvious but that serious runners use.
I'm starting off with this link for Nipguards.
This is for the boys only. I know that this sounds goofy but if you are ever on a long run and the silk screening on your shirt rubs the skin off of this sensitive area it is no laughing matter. It is also way more common than you might think. This company sells almost 1 million dollars worth of these things a year, so there is a significant market out there ( and not just for fat people). I believe that Rodiez's shoe store in 'Tosa carries them.
Next Week: Toe socks, can they prevent blisters?
